Welcome to MPF Conservation!

MPF Conservation (MPFC) are conservators specializing in the conservation, preservation, and selective "restoration" of furniture, wooden objects, textiles, and interior architectural elements for both private and museum clientele. We provide a wide variety of services toward the overall care and preservation of these objects.

Conservation is concerned first and foremost with preserving an object's structure, history, and value to the greatest extent possible. To this end, we educate caretaker's in the best environmental factors to support the preservation of a piece, and perform protective and restorative work on furniture and other objects as needed. We clean, repair, restore, reupholster, and protect all types of antiques and mid-century modern furniture and objects.

Our website is designed to provide information about MPFC, the process of conserving an object, inspirational before and after images, and articles on the care of historical objects. Often clients don't think their object "conservation worthy." Our goal is to take the mystery out of proper restoration.
