MPFC has capability of working with many types of fabric reparation and cleaning:

We also repair passementerie (trim), as is shown in the last item below, and also within the Hearst Castle® Flemish Sofa information.
Oregon State Capital Building
The Oregon State Capital underwent renovation and many artworks were cleaned and repaired. MPFC treated three textile art installations.

The artwork has hung in Oregon. State Capitol Building, Salem, Oregon since 1977. The eight colorful woven panels were in need of cleaning and reparation.

Fuhrmeister Tapestry Ca. 1977
The tapestry by Heidi Fuhrmeister has hung in Oregon State Capitol Building, Salem, Oregon since 1977. The large weaving was in need of cleaning and reparation of several moth holes. FUHRMEISTER TAPESTRY TREATMENT REPORT (Coming Soon)
Lyman Desert Grasses Quilt Ca. 1977
The Lyman “Desert Grasses” project, has hung in Oregon. State Capitol Building, Salem, Oregon since 1977. Lyman is a quilt consisting of eight rows of varying sized fabric pieces in shades of golds, rusts, and browns, hemmed and backed. Moth hole damage needed reweaving, as well as a thorough cleaning, including several stains of an unknown nature. Victorian Beaded Angel Late 19th Century
This family heirloom was to be a Christmas surprise for a son from his father's family, to be framed. Oxidation and possibly a chemical reaction had eaten areas of a metallic beads, and the same chemical reaction, which we believed to be a mixture of the bead with some liquid, possibly a cleanser, had also eaten through the grid of the needlepoint. Reparation to a California family heirloom quilt included stain removal and mending of embroidery.
Hearst Castle® Flemish Sofa Passementerie Reparation

The passementerie on the Hearst Castle® Flemish Sofa was in need of reparation in many areas: some small repairs, some large repairs including reproducing tassels.
