2007 UNIVERSITY LAWSON LOVESEAT (PDF):  Family heirlooms, these two Lawson loveseats went through a treatment that was both preservation and restorative.  Extensive frame repairs were needed, and this treatment report shows compromise reversible treatments for private clients.  The pieces were made in the American South, and reupholstered in a cotton brocaded crewel.

2005 FRENCH DECO SOFA  (PDF):  The sofa is a family heirlooms from Europe.  We excavated the sofa, repaired the frame, cleaned and reutilized innards where possible.  The fabric is a beautiful and appropriate mattlasse.  We created arm Slipcovers for this piece.

We have two sofas from institutional clients on our site:

IMPERIAL MONTEREY SOFA (PDF):  This sofa was one of the original three dozen pieces bought for the first Crater Lake Superintendent's cabin.  It is a wonderful sofa with a hinged side table!  The finish was severely compromised, there were two breaks, and it had some inappropriate applications of an oil-based stain applied to it.  Original upholstery was hidden under several layers of reupholstery.  Click here to see the new slideshow offered on the conservation!

2005 HEARST CASTLE'S® FLEMISH SOFA: This historic sofa sat in William Randolph Hearst's library on the third floor of the castle!
